Freebie 'Frisco Fun
So upon moving here, I knew cash was going to be a little tight (if only I could say this about my abs…). With this in mind, I set out seeking all volunteer or freebie opps so that my flow of fun wouldn’t stop with my cash flow.
In the next couple of weeks, look for different articles titles “Freebie ‘Frisco Fun” for ideas of ways to get your fun on without breaking...

Staying Fit: SF Gyms
One good thing about this city is that staying fit is pretty easy. With agreeable year long temps - no hair breaking cold days or humid sauna-like weather, many outdoor activites (hiking, biking, running..etc!), an abundance of gyms, and as a walkable city, San Francisco will keep you in shape!
However, with my on-foot commuting and intense hill climbing, I have managed to develop shins splints...

Being true to you: Importance Hierarchy
Before my move, I met with a friend (of a friend, of another friend’s boyfriend’s - you get the picture) who previously lived in San Francisco. A little bit older and a little bit wiser, this friend, let’s call him Jake*, relocated to NYC eight years previously, living and working on Wall Street. After the stock market plummetted, he picked up and left on a world excursion (round...

I had no job, no social network, no home. However, I did move with a fellow traveler, some money ($4500), and a lot of hope.
Since moving to a new city, one of...
