In the beginning of 2009, sitting safely and financially secure in my Minneapolis apartment I made a pact with myself. Get out of this city. Get out and explore something - something somewhere, something anywhere, and do it soon. Soon became Sept 30th, a one-way ticket bound for SFO. Join me as I establish a new life, the next chapter of my San Franciscan life. No job, no apartment, no established network. It’s time to start fresh, new; it’s time to be refreshed with life. |

In a nutshell… The phrase “try it once and never do it again” comes to mind.
What did I do? It wasn’t one of my finer moments, but at $12 per hour, handing flyers outside on a sunny day, this job wasn’t that bad.
End result? $60 richer. However, after my family found out about my promotion of illegal substances, a few rumors floated throughout my household. Four days following the event, I received this email from my mother: “There was a piece on the news about the CA Medical Marijuana issue - did you sell it at an event this weekend??? Love, Mom” Oh family…
